When he turned back, he noticed for the first time that the windows of the houses were covered with black cloth, and on the sills, the people had put white flowers.
Hopefully, the Enemy's soldiers are not too good at noticing details...

Yippee, I just found this new chapter. Keep up the great work. Nothing I love more than a good angsty Aragorn story.Your charactisation of Aragorn in ongoing dire straits makes for great reading. A real treat.
