Poor, sopping wet Legolas...
Really nice exposition here of the cultural clashes between the Greenwood and Imladris (I never had the Greenwood Elves happy about everyone else calling it Mirkwood either!) I'm also reminded, in your description of Legolas' awe, of the expression on his face in FoTR-the-movie when he dismounts in Rivendell and looks around - curious, wondering, childlike.
And gorgeous pic - am so jealous! :-)
