Ch. 17: Return and Departure

I am so pleased to see Elfled's story come to a happy ending. I have enjoyed looking at Rohan and it's more noted characters through her eyes - and found the parallels between her pain/healing and Rohan's recovery from warfare to be very - well - encouraging!

Good stuff. So did she live happily ever after? And how did Hereward cope with being in charge at such a young age? And what was the fate of Wulfram's daughters? Lots of potential for a sequel here!

Congratulations, good job! I had fun catching up and seeing the rest of the story. So sad for all her sadness, and glad Elfled found happiness. I like how you blended background gapfilling with the personal story. I've seen a lot of Rohan through Elfled's eyes.
