Argeleb II, son of Araphor, 10th king of Arthedain, dies out of natural causes. He ruled for 81 years.
It was during his reign that he granted the Periannath land beyond Baranduin (1601).
The Great Plague came during his time, and the Dúnedain of Cardolan perished. "The plague spreads north and west, and many parts of Eriador become desolate. [...] the Periannath survive but suffer great loss."
