Location: Khand is located south of the eastern edge of Mordor, where the Mountains of Shadow begin to curve north. Near Harad is to the west and south of Khand.

Description: Very little is known of Khand, aside from their association with Mordor, and that it is the land of "Variags" as described in RotK:
"East rode the knights of Dol Amroth driving the enemy before them: troll-men and Variags and orcs that hated the sunlight."
