Location: In Eriador next to Lake Nenuial. This is about 100 miles north of The Shire.
Description: Annúminas was established by Elendil, and is described as his 'chief city.' After the War of the Last Alliance the number of men of Westernesse dwindled, and the city was abandoned and fell into ruin.
One of the palantírs was originally at Annúminas.
In the fourth age King Elessar reestablished Annúminas and visited, staying at his house there for periods of time.
